The UAB School of Education's Maker Space provides education students a hands-on place to practice what they are learning in their courses using free resources. In this space, students will have access to advanced technology and resources like block coding technology and robotics, video and audio recording equipment, books to use for practicing read-alouds, poster printers for research and classroom use, as well as laminators and other various daily tools our students in both departments need to succeed at no additional cost to them.
Your $25 donation will give our students an incredible FREE space with various resources. The UAB School of Education's Maker Space hopes to be a one-stop shop for our students to have everything they need to succeed, from everyday basic materials to a free place to print, a space to study with actual equipment used in their classes, and more. These are just a few ways your $25 donation will help our students.
