CONGRATS '89!
You have successfully reached the overall goal to provide planks for your fallen.
We will leave this page up and live through 12.31.22 in hopes of raising even more for the Alumni Center project.
Please note that the amount raised over the Line of Duty loss goal of $75,000 will flow to our Midshipman loss's ensuring that both goals have been reached.
Also, every dollar raised on this site counts towards the $250,000 class recognition goal. We have achieved that too!
THANK YOU! WAY TO GO!!!
Hello everyone! As you may know, the great class of 89 is currently fundraising in support of the new Alumni Center. It’s a fantastic venue, scheduled to be complete in the spring of next year.
I encourage you to donate to the overall class goal of 250K, which will get our class recognized in a prime spot on a beautiful outdoor walkway with other class donors. As of today, we’re raised approximately 130K toward this effort.
I’m reaching out to you today let you know of an opportunity to recognize our fallen classmates as plank owners of the new Center. By donating to one or to both of the funds linked above, you’ll be supporting our six classmates who were lost in military operations, as well as the two we lost during our years as midshipmen.
Their names are below for your awareness. Again, you can choose to donate to both funds or just one — any amount is greatly appreciated.
As each plank owner requires a 12.5K donation to be recognized, this truly needs to be a team effort. Please be aware that all monies we raise together - whether or not we reach the goal having these classmates recognized - will contribute to our larger class fundraising goal of 250K,
So, if you plan to donate any money to the new Alumni Center, you get twice the benefit by donating to the cause of our fallen classmates.
As always, your class board is here for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to one of us at any time.
Thanks so much as always for your support. Go Navy, Beat Army!
