Provide books for pediatric patients!
Please help the UNC Hospital School raise funds to distribute books to pediatric patients across the
UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. Each year, we provide thousands of books to our students on the pediatrics floors, the neurosciences unit, the oncology/hematology clinic, the burn unit, the dialysis unit, the psychiatric emergency room, and more. The books provided help us teach about the world and universe around us and provide entertainment and an escape from the struggles our children are facing in the hospital.
The ability to provide educational services including library services to patients is essential to parallel what our students are missing in their community schools. Although students come to the school and library when they are able, school and the library comes to them as well.
