About

Support Cancer Patients' Wellness!

Get Real & Heel is a unique program designed to serve cancer patients in North Carolina. Get Real & Heel integrates individualized prescriptive exercise administered in small groups in-person and on Zoom to provide a program that strengthens the body, and provides a path forward into wellness.

This program provides an individualized plan that will help people with cancer manage treatment related symptoms, find supportive community, increase quality of life, and may prevent recurrence for some cancers.

Thanks to private philanthropy, we can provide this program for free for all cancer patients and survivors.

Exercise is a critical component of physical wellness during and after cancer treatment. Please support us to help ensure we can continue providing this beneficial program free of charge to cancer patients and survivors across the state.

Please give today in honor of Tar Heal Tuesday!
