Class Giving Campaigns

UNConditionally Carolina is your chance to give back to the campus you love and keep the Tar Heel spirit thriving for future generations. This year, the stakes are higher: classes are going head-to-head to see who can rally the most donors, earn ultimate bragging rights, and make the biggest mark on Carolina.

Whether you’re a freshman making your very first mark, a sophomore building momentum, a junior stepping up before senior year, or a senior leaving your legacy (and absolutely owning it), your gift makes an impact and moves your class up the leaderboard.

Every dollar goes to what matters most to you—your department, scholarships, or programs that shaped your Carolina experience. Big or small, your gift says: I’m a Tar Heel, and I’m all in.

All undergraduate seniors, graduating graduate students, and parents of a senior undergraduate student who make an online gift of $20.26 or more to an unrestricted Fund between February 24 2026, and April 13, 2026, are eligible to receive a commemorative pin. Limit one pin per donor. Supplies are limited. Questions about the pin can be directed to Madison Morriss, Assistant Director of Annual Giving, at annualgiving@unc.edu.

Donors itemizing their contribution are advised that per IRS guidelines, the charitable portion of your donation must be reduced by the fair market value of the pin, which is valued at $3.82 each. If your gift is greater than or equal to $66.00, then the full amount of your gift can be considered tax-deductible. We encourage you to consult your tax adviser about the deductibility of any charitable contribution.
