The Firm Campaign is a spirited philanthropic challenge among law firms with five or more Carolina Law alumni in support of the School. Since 2002, the Firm Campaign has bolstered the Carolina Law community within each firm while helping raise scholarships and grants for the School's students and programs.

New Features in the 2025 Firm Campaign
Philanthropic Impact: Scholarship Support
Dean Brinkley has shared that scholarship support is one of the law school’s top funding priorities. “Why?” you may ask... Competitive scholarships are crucial to Carolina Law’s ability to attract and matriculate the nation’s most promising aspiring attorneys. These are the students your firm wants to recruit and hire as associates. These two factors, merits of the class and placement of our students, are two crucial factors in our top 20 ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
Carolina Law must increase our scholarship resources to remain competitive in this space and we are inviting Firm Campaign participants to partner with us to get there.
All firms participating in The Firm Campaign will have an overall goal created specifically for your firm. Although gifts to any active Carolina Law fund count toward that overall goal, we strongly encourage you to consider supporting the Law Scholarships Fund. To keep you inspired and motivated, we will share current stories about how scholarships positively impact law students every day. We hope these statements from our students will illustrate how your gift makes a difference!
New Campaign Timing
The Firm Campaign will be actively promoted from mid-February through June 30, 2025 – but it is important to note that all gifts made July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 will count towards your participation.
What does this mean for you?
- If you make your gift before the “launch” of The Firm Campaign (mid-February, 2025) - thank you! You have already helped your firm get a head start in meeting their goal. Your gift made between July 1, 2024 – mid-February, 2025 will count as your participation and will be automatically added to your firm’s crowdfunding page before the campaign begins.
- If you make your gift, we invite you to consider making that gift in support of law scholarships and we will add your gift to your firm’s online giving platform.
- If you have previously given to – and plan to continue giving to – a specific named fund, your gift will count in The Firm Campaign! We will recognize the TOTAL dollars raised by a firm to any active fund at Carolina Law.
