Your Giving Day gift to the School of Education supports the creation of an outdoor classroom that enhances teacher preparation through experiential, place-based learning. This space allows faculty to model effective outdoor pedagogy while helping education students engage diverse learning styles, promote student well-being, and integrate environmental stewardship into their teaching practice. By learning outside traditional classrooms, future educators gain practical tools and confidence to create engaging learning environments in their own schools and communities.
