Gifts to School of Business contribute to...
The School of Business at Trinity Western University offers a blend of academic excellence and hands-on experience, preparing students to lead and inspire in the business world. With over 1,000 students, it is the Canada’s premier Christian business school. The programs emphasize a global mindset, relational learning, and practical application of business theories and concepts. Students are encouraged to integrate their Christian values with business practices and have opportunities for travel studies and mentorship programs.
When you give to the School of Business on Giving Day 2025, you are supporting two key initiatives:
1) Seed funds for launching the Doctor of Business Administration
We are preparing to launch a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program, an advanced professional business degree designed to equip business executives, academics, and consultants to bridge and advance theory and practice in tackling today’s complex business world. Through rigorous, applied research-based coursework, research supervision from distinguished faculty, and collaborative industry partnerships, the DBA program will foster the strategic insights and leadership acumen necessary to drive sustainable growth on a global scale.
Your generous support will help with the preparation of the program through the rigorous program approval processes, attract and retain faculty and staff, and once the program is approved, establish scholarships for high-potential students and expand innovative research opportunities.
2) Seed funds for launching the business incubator at the Langley campus
We are moving ahead with a venture incubator. While it is in the final stages of branding and planning, the intent is to create a community where founders, entrepreneurs, dreamers, or even those interested in a side gig, can learn about and get support for their venture. Unlike many incubators, the TWU incubator will be less technology obsessed, and less focused on starting hyper-growth or even trendy ventures. It will focus on a wide range of businesses, building on the industries that are relevant and growing in our backyards, including tech and tech-enabled businesses, social, community, and kingdom-focused new ventures.
The goal will be to provide potential ventures with resources (mentors, advisors, administration, and investors), pathways (ad hoc support, entrepreneurial cohorts, and Founders-in-Residence programs, etc.), and frameworks (classes, accountability, milestones, and validation). The venturers will be students, alumni, friends of TWU, and our community neighbours in the regions where we operate. Students will be able to try to build a business, support a new venture through class work and internships, and vicariously build their entrepreneurial mentality by working alongside venture owners. Our vision is that years from now, TWU will have an endowed legacy of trailing investments in thriving businesses, and we will be able to say, "This started at TWU!"
