School of the Arts, Media + Culture

TWU’s School of the Arts, Media, and Culture (SAMC) is committed to help students be salt and light in the world through their creative work. We create art and shared narratives that are key to joyful relationships, transformative development, and vibrant renewal. Across our 10 programs, students have opportunities to build innovative communication concepts, artistic expressions, smart design, creative business strategies, imaginative critical analysis, strategic communication, and advocacy work. Mentoring and support are key to the learning environment, with a 6:1 student to faculty ratio. At SAMC, 80% of coursework is project based, including professional field placements, galleries, public performances, and more, and a high percentage of alumni are currently working or pursuing graduate studies in a related field.

When you give to SAMC on Giving Day 2025, you are supporting the following Technological Innovation Projects (TIPS):

• Multimedia and sound installation in galleries
• High-end gear for video game projects
• Film and media work
• Recording performances
• International tours
