Gifts to School of Nursing contribute to...
The School of Nursing at Trinity Western University prepares students to provide compassionate and whole-person health care, integrating Christian values with professional nursing practice. The school offers bachelor's, master's, and PhD programs in nursing. The BSN program emphasizes hands-on learning through clinical experiences in hospitals, community settings, and simulation labs. Nursing faculty are engaged researchers, with over $5 million in external funding. More than 1,000 BSN students have graduated since 1993, and over 200 MSN students since 2009. The PhD Nursing program launched in 2022 is the first doctoral program at TWU. The School of Nursing is committed to producing globally minded, socially responsive nurses, who are equipped to address the health needs of diverse populations.
When you give to the School of Nursing on Giving Day 2025, you are supporting upgrading equipment for the simulation lab. This lab provides opportunities to learn and practice in real-life scenarios to equip students to provide safe, ethical, competent, and compassionate care. Some examples of this new equipment are an emergency crash cart or a simulation newborn baby.
