GLOBAL Initiatives

TWU GLOBAL is the academic division in the University that provides leadership and support for emergent and innovative approaches to higher education. In addition to our programs being offered on the TWU Langley and Richmond campuses, our programs include partnerships with leading educational institutions around the world, allowing international students in select countries to receive a TWU education through their local university.

When you give to TWU GLOBAL on Giving Day 2025, you are supporting the 2025 Goodwill Tours in China. For 2025, this will support student-athletes and musicians from TWU Spartan Athletics and School of Arts, Media, and Culture. The purpose of the TWU Goodwill Tours is to increase the global presence of the University through collaborative and strategic partnerships. It also provides opportunities for student-athletes and musicians to engage in cross cultural exchange on a global stage. From 2011–2020, TWU engaged in nine Goodwill Tours in Asia. In 2025, TWU is sending the choir to China and Hong Kong (in early May) and the men's basketball team to China to compete against top CUBA and CBA teams. In total, over 50 students will be involved in the 2025 Goodwill Tours, where they will compete or perform, engage in social service activities with local students, and represent TWU at universities, government education fairs, and high schools in Asia.
