Gifts to Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences contribute to...
The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FNAS) offers exceptional and rigorous educational experiences, both in the classroom and the laboratory. Mentorship is helped by our small class sizes—whether you choose to study biology, chemistry, computer science, geography and the environment, or mathematics. FNAS has over 30 faculty members, three field study areas, and many program opportunities to focus on areas of interest. FNAS provides students with exceptional opportunities to work with faculty on research projects. We also offer exciting options for travel studies and work placements, including opportunities to work with elementary school children in our renowned summer Science in the Valley program. This broad-based education equips you to make a positive scientific contribution in industry, research, teaching, or the health sciences.
When you give to FNAS on Giving Day 2025, you are supporting the following initiatives:
- Science in the Valley – Expanding hands-on STEM experiences for local youth
- Student Research – Funding summer research opportunities for students
- Zoology & Ecology Enhancements – Improving teaching models and experience
- Chemistry Lab Equipment – Acquiring a rotary evaporator for advance experiments
- Robotics and Virtual Reality – Advancing technology integration in our programs
