Sam Mickens 1 Day Football Camp

Description: Learn from current, former NFL, and College players and compete against the best competition in the area. This is a one-day football camp led by Sam Mickens and the Trinity Episcopal School coaching staff. Campers will participate in on field and classroom instruction, position specific drills, and competition periods designed to bring out the best in every athlete.
Grades: Rising 5-9
Date: Camp 1: Sunday, June 8 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
Camp 2: Sunday June 15,(9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
*Must have 20 attendees for camp to run.
*Full refunds will be given if camp does not meet minimum threshold.
Location: Football Game Field, Aycock Stadium
Cost: $100 or $175 for both camp days

About Coach Mickens: Sam Mickens has been program head for Titan Football since 2012. Mickens is a former Division III college football player at Montclair State University and previously worked and coached at Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, NJ. Under his direction, Titan Football won two DII VISAA state championships (2014 and 2015), then followed that up by winning a Division I VISAA state championship in 2021 and 2022; Mickens was named state coach of the year in all those same seasons. Coach Mickens brings a wealth of knowledge about the sport and the college recruiting process. Coach Mickens also serves in the development office at Trinity.
Coach Mickens was named Washington Football Team Coach of the Week in 2019 and nominated for Washington Football Team Coach of the Year in the same year. During his tenure, Coach Mickens has coached numerous players who have gone on to play at the college and professional level. Coach Mickens brings over 30 years of experience and knowledge about the game and recruiting process.
