I chose to participate in this trip because I believe that it will be an amazing opportunity to not only connect with my teammates and play the sport that we love, but it will give me the opportunity to experience a country that I have never seen before and also give back to their community.
Our foreign tour to Costa Rica in August 2024 presents a unique and life-changing opportunity for the Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team. By combining athletic development, cultural exploration, community service, and personal growth, this tour will create lasting memories, forge lifelong friendships, and shape our team. We will explore San Jose’s historical sites, visit Poas Volcano, the city of Cartago, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, Manuel Antonio National Park, the Savegre River rain forest, participate in mission work in a costal village, and compete against Costa Rican volleyball teams in three exhibition games. I would appreciate your support and prayers for this upcoming trip.
