Athletic Facility

The current Mark R. Moore Physical Education Center represented a bold vision for Trevecca in 1968. That original building still serves an athletic program far exceeding those humble beginnings. Trevecca is now proposing a project in three phases to address the critical needs for athletic facilities.

Key points to consider as you consider a possible gift to this project:

• University enrollment has grown tremendously since 2005.
• Intercollegiate Athletics beginning in Fall 2023 will be comprised of 17 teams and approximately 375 athletes.
• Indoor sports volleyball, women’s and men’s basketball, each have JV squads as well. With the addition of stunt and cheerleading teams, that means eight teams are competing for time on the court for practice and competition events.
• Intramural sports have virtually no indoor space available for participants.
• Fitness and weight training facilities are stressed.
• Athletic training spaces are inadequate to accommodate any further growth.
