Hi!
My name is Gabriela Jasso and I am a first generation college student at Trevecca. I am a sophomore majoring in History and Social Justice, and I am minoring in Environmental Justice. I am the product of courageous and resilient Mexican immigrants. The story of leaving everything behind for the opportunity of a better future is the story of my beautiful people. I hope to see the face of Jesus in everyone I meet as I go to the Mexico and US border, learn from them, and learn how justice can be made a possibility. I hope you consider partaking in this journey with me, whether it be through donation, prayer or both!

Mi nombre es Gabriela Jasso y soy un estudiante universitaria de primera generación en Trevecca. Estoy en mi segundo año de escuela y estoy estudiando Historia, Justicia Social, y Justicia Ambiental. Yo soy el producto de inmigrantes fuertes y valientes. La historia de dejar todo atrás para la oportunidad de una vida mejor es la historia de mi gente. Yo tengo la esperanza de encontrarme con Jesús en la gente cuando llegue a la frontera de Mexico y los EEUU, aprender de la gente, y aprende cómo se puede traer justicia en estas circunstancias.
