As the TU’s Grand Dame since 1929, McFarlin has been the physical and academic center of our beautiful campus.
In its 80-year history, McFarlin has bolstered the research of thousands of scholars, informed countless research papers, and acquired more than 170,000 rare books, manuscripts, and other materials that are held in the university’s special collections.

We need your help amplifying our message within your network. You can be a TU alumnus, student, faculty, parent, or friend and make an impact during our 24-hour challenge! Ambassadors are vital to the success of our campaign.
To suit the growing need for private, academically driven space, the McFarlin Library is participating in the University of Tulsa’s Give Greater campaign to fund the purchase of study pods and study carrels with electric hookups. Adding these forward-thinking products to our library will provide space for private research, computer usage, interview space, and a test-taking compliant area. These mobile units are sleek, durable, and will give the next generation of University of Tulsa students dedicated space to pursue their education.
