The Power To Do has always been central to how the Edward H. Schmidt School of Professional Sales (ESSPS) has gone about transforming the profession of sales, and it comes from how we create knowledge with our research, shape people with our curricula, and make connections with our outreach. Each element influences each other and flows together to cultivate experiences and results for those we serve.
Student experience is paramount. The role plays, student organization support, national sales competition (UTISC), coaching sessions, development and networking events, class speakers, course integrations, etc all factor in. Our student experience is recognized as a premier one:
-94% of ESSPS students consistently agree to strongly agree that being in the ESSPS benefits them
-95% of professional sales majors are successfully placed in their careers – cumulative since academic year 2014
-16 national competition top 10 placements including 8 1st places – in academic year 2024 alone
The ESSPS invests $1,300 per student per year to make this possible, and we need your help to keep our tradition of excellence going.
