Let's BEAT BGSU! An epic rivalry continues...
What? In the spirit of a friendly rivalry, UToledo and Bowling Green have partnered in a giving challenge that will strengthen both schools. Come together with other UToledo alumni, students, and friends with one goal in mind: BEAT BGSU - on the field and off.
Why? Just 20 miles of highway on I-75 separate The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University, considered by many observers to have the greatest rivalry in the Mid-American Conference. These two universities first met on the gridiron in 1919, playing 12 times before the series was discontinued following the 1935 game (a 63-0 Toledo triumph).The rivalry resumed in 1948 and has been stirring up emotions on both sides ever since. Adding a friendly fundraising rivalry, helps everyone win - especially our students.
When? NOW! The race is on and your gift will make an impact. The campaign closes the day of the big game, Tuesday, November 14 at 12:00 p.m. (EST).
