The Woman’s Auxiliary Centennial Endowed Scholarship was created to celebrate the history of our impact and continue our legacy into the future. UTEP is shaping the future of education for our community, and as it continues to grow, so must our commitment to providing scholarship support for talented students, ensuring outstanding educational opportunities.
On April 21-22, we hope you will “Raise Your Pick” and join us in our continuing efforts to raise $100,000 to our endowed centennial fund in honor of over 100 years of giving scholarships to hundreds of UTEP students.

THE HISTORY OF THE WOMAN’S AUXILIARY
The Woman’s Auxiliary of The University of Texas at El Paso has been an important source of support for the UTEP community for more than 100 years. In the early years, they played a key role in the organization of the University band and provided financial support to cover the salary of the band instructor and band uniforms. Their contributions have expanded to provide academic and athletic scholarships, including both undergraduate and graduate students. Beyond scholarship support, they have provided funds for the University Library and have established six endowments. The Woman’s Auxiliary has also funded numerous other initiatives and needs the University has had over the years, including the El Paso Centennial Museum on campus in celebration of the Texas Centennial.
