We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.
This year, the UNC School of Media and Journalism is stepping up its game.
Our 2016 goal is to raise $100,000 through Tar Heel Tuesday, UNC's version of the national Giving Tuesday effort.
Three generous, committed donors — Susan Credle '85, Rusty Carter '71 and Frank Andrews — pledged $10,000 each if we could raise a matching $30,000. Thanks to your help, we did!
Reaching our dollar goal is important, but so is the number of alumni who choose to participate in this year's campaign. Your gift, in any amount, lets us know you're standing with the MJ-school on Tar Heel Tuesday.
