We are in the final stretch of the 2022-2023 Owl Fund campaign.
JOIN US MAY 1-5 FOR GREEN & GOLD GIVING WEEK: RACE TO THE FINISH
Giving Week is Orchard’s final community-wide giving challenge benefiting the Owl Fund for the fiscal year. In the nature of school spirit and the beloved Indy 500, Orchard teachers will race around the Green in support of the Owl Fund and Giving Week. And just to make it interesting, the grade level with the most dollars raised during Giving Week (May 1-5) will receive a head start.
We are 92% to our annual Owl Fund goal. With your help during Giving Week, we'll raise the final $60,000 by May 5th (RACE DAY)!
ADDITIONAL FUN THIS WEEK INCLUDES
Monday May 1st:
After drop off we will be kicking off Giving Week with Coffee on the Green.
Wednesday May 3rd:
Flag day at Orchard. Wear your favorite race-themed attire.
Friday May 5th:
Race-around-the-Green day. Wear your Orchard gear and get ready to cheer! MORE ABOUT RACE DAY: Faculty will race around the Green in support of the Owl Fund. The grade-level with the most dollars raised during Giving Week, will receive a head start in the 2nd annual Green and Gold Giving Week: Race to the Finish Faculty/Staff Tricycle Race! Who do you want to see win?
OPPORTUNITY CLOSED: CENTENNIAL TREE PLAQUE ($100 OR MORE)
As part of our Centennial year, Orchard will be giving back to the broader Indianapolis community on Saturday, April 29th by planting 100+ trees at James Foster Gaines Park with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. We will save one of the trees (a sugar maple) to be planted on Orchard's campus next to the Sugar Shack. This Commemorative Centennial Tree will allow future generations to continue Orchard's tradition of turning sap to syrup in science class.
Any donor who gives $100 OR MORE from now until May 5th will have their name included on the Commemorative Centennial Tree plaque on campus.
