Big Red Giving Day 2020

UPDATE: Given the current state of the world and recent events in the U.S., we have made the difficult decision to cancel Big Red Giving Day 2020, which was scheduled for June 4. With our own nation in mourning and the global economy in deep distress, it would be both inappropriate and insensitive for us to stage a celebratory event of this nature at this time. We will keep this page live through midnight on June 5th.

One Day. One Lawrenceville.

On Thursday, June 4, the Lawrenceville community - from near and far - is banding together to support the place we love to call home. Join alumni, parents, and friends of Lawrenceville by making a gift on Big Red Giving Day (BRGD) in support of The Lawrenceville Fund.

Your gift to Lawrenceville during BRGD has never been more important. The Lawrenceville Fund represents 10% of our operating budget and allows the School flexibility to address its most pressing needs. There is no better example of that than our current reality. The Lawrenceville Fund supports the costs associated with the swift transition to virtual learning and an increased need for financial aid for our students.

Big Red Giving Day begins at 5:50am EST on June 4, 2020 and ends at midnight on June 5, 2020. That means you have 18 hours and 10 minutes, in honor of Lawrenceville's founding, to show your love!

• Trustee Match: Every donor up until 229 (in honor of the number of students in the Class of 2020), will be generously matched with $250 - an additional $57,200! - by The Lawrenceville School Board of Trustees. These matched funds will be allocated to Student Health & Wellness, an area of The Lawrenceville Fund, that has been chosen by the Class of 2020.
• Recurring Gift Challenge: Want to provide consistent support to Lawrenceville year after year? Set up a recurring gift and we will send you an Lawrenceville key-chain. Your continued support is key to our success!
• Keep checking back as more matches and challenges will be added throughout the day!

• Step 1: Create a GiveCampus account (top right corner of this page) or login with your Facebook account.
• Step 2: Make a gift on BRGD (June 4th) to the area of The Lawrenceville Fund that is the most meaningful to you. After you complete the giving form, save your personal giving link.
• Step 3: Use the Advocate Toolkit below and your personal giving link to spread the word and encourage your classmates, friends, and family to support BRGD. Remember to use #BRGD20 when you share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Step 4: Use GiveCampus to record your own personal plea and set up any challenges for your fellow Lawrentians.

Special incentives for BRGD Advocates:

• Parent Advocates: The parent advocate who generates the highest number of gifts will receive a personal tour of GCAD.
• Alumni Advocates: The alumni advocate who generates the highest number of gifts will have the opportunity to have a networking call with a Trustee.
• Personal Pleas: Share with others who you are and why you are supporting Lawrenceville on BRGD by recording and uploading a personal plea, and we will send you a Lawrenceville T-Shirt.
