At Kensington Creative and Performing Arts (KCAPA), we know our students are bursting with creativity, energy, and potential. But right now, we’re missing a vital piece: a safe, inviting outdoor space where students can learn, play, and unwind together. That’s why we’re launching the Tiger Turf campaign—to transform our school grounds into a vibrant hub for academic excellence, creativity, and community connection.
Why This Project Matters
Our vision is to create an engaging outdoor Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) room—an innovative space where students can take learning beyond the classroom, recharge their minds, and connect with friends in a positive environment. This space will be so much more than just a playground:
- Active Play Zones: Students will have access to diverse play opportunities, encouraging movement, teamwork, and healthy habits.
- Calming Corners: We’ll create quiet, peaceful areas for students to relax, reflect, and practice emotional regulation—helping them manage stress and build resilience.
- Creative Learning Spaces: Outdoor classrooms will inspire academic achievement and spark imagination, making every lesson an adventure.
- A Community Gathering Spot: Families, teachers, and neighbors can come together for events, performances, and celebrations—strengthening the bonds that make KCAPA special.

With your support, Tiger Turf will:

Our Goal
We need to raise $22,000 to bring Tiger Turf to life. Every dollar goes directly toward building outdoor play zones, calming areas, and creative learning spaces that will benefit KCAPA students for years to come.
