Help Central High School DECA Students Compete on the International Stage

Eight talented students from Central High School have earned an incredible opportunity to represent Philadelphia at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, from April 25–29, 2026!

After excelling at the Pennsylvania DECA State Competition—where they competed among more than 4,000 students from across the state—these young leaders are preparing to take their skills in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship to the next level.

Your support will help cover travel, lodging, registration, and competition materials for the team. By contributing to this fundraiser, you’re helping Central High School students gain invaluable real-world experience and make lasting connections with peers and professionals from around the globe.

Let’s come together to get these students to Atlanta and show that Philadelphia’s young talent can shine anywhere in the world!

Goal: $8,500
Deadline: April 20, 2026

How You Can Help:
Your donation directly supports travel and registration costs for Central High School’s DECA team.

Every gift brings these students closer to representing our city on an international stage!

*If we do not meet our fundraising goal, we will use these funds to support this or another vital need at our school!

Learn more about DECA and ICDC!

DECA is a student organization that prepares high school and college students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through classroom learning, real‑world projects, and competitive events.

The conference—officially the International Career Development Conference (ICDC)—is DECA’s flagship event where top students from around the world compete in business‑style challenges, attend workshops, and network with industry professionals and colleges. At ICDC, Central High’s DECA students will present their skills in marketing or business cases and compete for national‑level recognition, which also helps them build confidence and explore future college and career paths.
