Our Day of Giving is a special day where we ask the entire DS community to connect, engage, and give back to our school and community. As a non-profit, money raised throughout the campaign goes directly towards supporting The Derryfield Fund. This year is extra exciting as we are also celebrating Derryfield’s 60th year!
Our goal this year is to have 425 donors participate in the Day of Giving! A gift of any size will count, and we know with your help, we can get there. As we get closer, stay tuned for more exciting news about ways to give, incentives and more!
Good morning, Derryfield!
I write with deep gratitude for the overwhelming support and generosity of the Derryfield community to make this year’s Day of Giving a huge success! I am humbled and moved by the way the DS community set a new bar this year by creating a contagious energy and spirit throughout the day which led to record levels of participation and total dollars raised.
Your support contributed to the success with a total of 504 gifts and $159,446, both new records! Every dollar raised during the Day of Giving goes directly toward The Derryfield Fund, which makes it possible for our students, faculty, and staff to fulfill the vision of the 39 families who founded Derryfield 60 years ago.
Your support is a demonstration of your commitment to the mission of Derryfield. Whether you are a current student, alum, parent, grandparent, or friend - in some way Derryfield has made an impact on your life. The Day of Giving is one way that we come together and honor that impact through our participation. I can’t thank you enough for your support, and I hope we continue to earn your support in the future. If you did not have the chance to make a gift yesterday and would still like to contribute towards this year’s Day of Giving, the campaign page will be open through midnight tonight.

We are excited to announce an anonymous donor has shared they will donate an additional $6,000 in honor of our 60th anniversary when we reach our goal of 425 donors. That is a total of $33,000 if we can get to 425 donors by the end of our Day of Giving!

Today is Derryfield’s Day of Giving and we need your help! As members of our Philanthropy & Engagement Committee, DS Alumni Ellie '69 and David Cochran, Graham Duck '00 and Meredith Topol '11 have issued a challenge for our Derryfield Alumni. When we reach 100 Alumni donors for the Day of Giving, we will unlock a total match of $6,250!
We are halfway there and need less than 50 gifts to reach our goal! A gift of any size counts. We hope you will consider making a donation in honor of your graduation year or favorite faculty member while at Derryfield. And if you make a gift of $100 or more - there are still a few limited edition "1964" hats left!

The Day of Giving has officially arrived! We are excited to announce that we begin this day having already secured $33,853 from 128 Early Bird donors. Thank you to everyone who has made a gift so far!
This year we reflect on our founding, 60 years ago, in 1964 by 39 eclectic families who came together for a common purpose. They shared a vision of creating a college prep school where their children could be home for dinner and believed “academic achievement without compassion and concern for others is meaningless.” Now, 60 years later, Derryfield continues to fulfill the founding families' visions.
As we head into the next 24 hours, we ask you to support our incredible students who are working hard, becoming leaders in the community, and growing up before us all. And we ask you to reflect on what YOU may love about Derryfield.
