Citadel Wrestling Family,
This is Tim McCall, the new Head Wrestling Coach at The Citadel. First, I want to say thank you for welcoming my family and me into the Citadel Wrestling family. It is an honor to lead this program, and I am grateful for the opportunity to coach these young men and represent an institution with such a proud tradition.
I am excited about the year ahead. This team is coming off a conference championship, and our goal is to pick up where they left off while continuing to raise the standard of Citadel Wrestling.
As we move forward, our program will be built around a few core beliefs: Family, Hard Work, Discipline, Accountability, and Gratefulness. I believe these values are essential to developing not only well-rounded wrestlers, but well-rounded young men who are prepared for life beyond the mat.
We will also take great pride in honoring the Corps of Cadets. The values of the Corps align closely with the type of men, teammates, and competitors we want to develop within this program.
One of my biggest priorities is building strong relationships with our alumni, fans, families, and the Charleston community. It takes a village to build something special, and I want everyone who has supported Citadel Wrestling, past and present, to feel connected to this program.
Throughout the year, we will introduce new opportunities to bring the Citadel Wrestling family together. I hope you will join us, get involved, and continue to be a part of what we are building. Your support makes a tremendous difference for our student-athletes and the future of this program.
Please mark your calendars for two important events this fall:
Bulldog RTC Golf Outing — October 18 (Registration opening soon!)
Throwdown on the Yorktown — November 7
Both events are tremendous opportunities to support our program, connect with the Citadel Wrestling family, and help us continue moving forward.
Thank you again for your support. We are excited to get to work, build on the tradition of Citadel Wrestling, and make you proud. Stay tuned in for our schedule drop!
Go Dogs!
