About

Today, we ask all Citadel alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends to invest in The Citadel's future by making a gift of any size!

Giving Day has always focused on the importance of our cadets and students, offering alumni and friends an opportunity to support and enhance The Citadel experience.

The Citadel Fund offers annual unrestricted support that provides the college with the resources to sustain and enhance the quality of education, as well as the flexibility to react to unanticipated opportunities. Unrestricted gifts in support of the operations and strategic growth of the college ensure that The Citadel will retain a competitive edge in attracting the brightest students and most accomplished professors. Such gifts provide campus leaders with the discretionary resources to act immediately in service of The Citadel’s current priorities and long-term interests.

The "Major of St. Lo" Victory Fund supports the greatest needs within The Citadel Athletics program. All tax-deductible gifts to the Victory Fund directly impact the cadet-athlete experience by allowing The Citadel Athletics program the flexibility and innovation to provide the necessary resources to recruit the nation's best athletes and coaches. Your contributions provide critical funding for the immediate needs of Citadel Athletics, including scholarship and academic support, sport-specific needs, sports medicine, nutrition advancements, leadership development, facility constructions and renovations, and other operations that will give those select few athletes who choose The Citadel an unparalleled collegiate experience.

The Citadel Support for Ukraine Scholarship will provide non-endowed financial resources to The Citadel’s Office of the Provost to assist two Ukrainian citizens with scholarships covering full tuition, room, board, and fees. These scholarships shall be given to those who have been affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and wish to benefit from The Citadel’s world-class military-style education and leader development program for their future military or civilian service.

Class Scholarships for Current Cadets allow cadets, parents, and friends to make a gift directly to the scholarship funds being established for the Classes of 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. These class scholarship funds will become the primary fundraising project for each class upon graduation. First preference for future scholarship recipients will be given to family members and descendants of the members of the class.

If you are in a Class Reunion Campaign (Corps alumni from 1972, 1973, 1974, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2012, and 2013), we invite you to continue to support your class project on Giving Day. Please select the Class Reunion Campaign Fund, and your gift will be directed to your class project.

Bulldogs are inspired by each other, and the more you share, the greater the impact you will have.

If you wish to make a gift via phone, please call 843.953.GIVE (4483) on May 3rd from 8:00am-5:00pm EDT.
