Help Support the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences
For Antonio Ordaz, studying psychology at BYU is an opportunity to better understand people and find ways to serve them. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Ordaz hopes to eventually earn a PhD in clinical psychology. He served a mission in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, and now continues that spirit of service through participating in mentored research with the Strong Youth Project. With Professor Jenae Nelson, he studies how sports can teach young people valuable life skills and principles of virtue.
Antonio is actively sharing his light with others through his education, research, faith, and talents. Giving to the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences helps provide students like Antonio with opportunities to develop their skills and use their education to serve individuals, families, and communities.
