The largest and most programmatically diverse of the University’s twelve schools, the School of Arts and Sciences has 140 faculty members, more than 1,400 undergraduate students, and 450 graduate students. Each of its 17 departments and seven interdisciplinary programs are devoted to excellence and dedicated to serving humanity.
Your support of the School of Arts and Sciences and its programs will:
- Fund cutting-edge research in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences on the basis of faith and reason, furthering our recent Carnegie Classification as an R1 institution.
- Provide hands-on experiential learning opportunities, from lab work to global studies.
- Develop innovative programs of the future such as our Masters of Public Policy and Masters of Information Systems.
- Enrich students' understanding of human flourishing, equipping them with critical thinking, cultural awareness, and ethical reasoning skills to promote the common good.
