Gifts to Athletics contribute to...
Catholic University Athletics is committed to providing student-athletes with the resources, training, and support they need to compete at their highest level. Our varsity programs play a vital role in strengthening the student-athlete experience, fostering personal growth, and contributing to the university’s competitive athletic culture. For Founders Day 2025, our top priority is the Athletics Department Annual Fund, which provides essential support for department-wide initiatives, including the Fueling Station and Athletic Training.
The Athletics Annual Fund is the backbone of our department, funding key programs such as the fueling station, athletic training, strength & conditioning, and mental health and wellness initiatives. The annual fund also provides critical operational support such as post season travel and other unexpected events helping to maintain the strong student athlete experience.
Since his first day at Catholic University, Director of Athletics Kevin Robinson has prioritized the creation of a Fueling Station at the DuFour Center. The 2024-25 academic year marked the Bird Feeders inaugural year, offering post-workout and post practice snacks. Similarly, Athletic Training is crucial to injury prevention and recovery, ensuring that our athletes perform their best. This Founders Day, the Athletic Training Department is focused on securing new equipment to further enhance injury prevention and recovery, including items like ice and compression recovery items (Game Ready), portable treatment tables, and resistance band wall anchors.
With your support, we can continue to enhance the student-athlete experience, ensuring that every Cardinal has the tools, training, and opportunities necessary to thrive both on and off the field. By investing in the Athletics Annual Fund, you help shape the future of Catholic University Athletics and empower our student-athletes to reach their full potential. Thank YOU!
