Griffin Relief Fund

The coronavirus pandemic is testing the Buckley Community in ways we could never have imagined. While economic hardship and uncertainty weigh on our hearts and minds, we also are reminded of the strength and spirit of generosity that defines our community.

The Griffin Relief Fund 2020 was established to provide short-term tuition assistance to families with unexpected financial need as a result of the pandemic. Financial circumstances for many members of our community have changed dramatically, many facing difficult decisions regarding tuition for next academic year. Contributions to the Griffin Relief Fund will be used to fund one-time tuition assistance grants to families facing unexpected financial hardship. The school’s goal is to ensure very student who left campus in March when remote learning began can return in the fall.

Asking for charitable contributions during this crisis is complicated: we realize finances are strained for many, while others have asked how they can help. Please know that we are asking on behalf of the students who benefit from a Buckley education today and for the rest of their lives.

*Spending from the Griffin Relief Fund will be at the discretion of the Head of School and the Chief Financial Officer for families with demonstrated financial need. Donations to the Griffin Relief Fund are tax-deductible within IRS guidelines.
