The Boys & Girls Club of Geneva originally incorporated on Sept. 30, 1996 with a goal of giving Geneva kids a place for fun and support after school. The club opened at 1 Goodman St. in a building owned by the Geneva Housing Authority but has since built and owns the 24,000-square-foot Geneva Community Center at 160 Carter Road. Attendance at the club has grown to more than 400 families over the years and club services have been extended from toddlers to senior citizens at the Carter Road facility. The club also partners with the Geneva Center of Concern to augment family food supplies throughout the region.
Your support of our Giving Day campaign will be directed to our endowment which will provide financial stability to ensure the Club is here for another 25 years!
As generous donors met the Emerson Foundation Challenge, boosting the Boys & Girls Club of Geneva Giving Day from $80,000 to $120,000, two of the club's biggest supporters stepped in to join the Emerson Foundation leadership.
Dave and Brenda Rickey of Poway California donated $50,000 and Rob and Pam Sands and the Sands Family Foundation contributed $20,000 to boost the campaign to nearly $200,000, double the original goal.
Truly a great day for Geneva's kids. These funds will be part of an endowment that will keep giving to this community for generations to come!
Thank you to everyone for making this all possible!

The combined gifts from Brad Prozeller, Alaine Espenschied, City Council member Jan Regan and Geneva Community Projects helped us meet the $80,000 Emerson Foundation Challenge! The Foundation will now give the Boys & Girls Club $40,000 to boost the Club's endowment. You can expect some big announcements in the next few hours as we continue to receive support for Geneva's kids!

Our community partners of Geneva have stepped up big time! The donor challenge by Community Bank has been met and they have given $10,000. Lyons National Bank has matched that amount and donated $10,000 as well! The Bank of the Finger Lakes has given $5,000! A gift from Wegmans Food Markets came in at $3,000! Thank you all for supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Geneva!
