The Steve Dubin '79 “Rainy Day” Scholarship Fund honors the life and legacy of a man who devoted more than four decades to Boys’ Latin as a student, athlete, coach, mentor, and trusted colleague. Known for his humor, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our boys, Steve embodied the very best of the Laker spirit.
This scholarship fund celebrates the values Steve lived every day: leadership, humility, hard work, and heart. Created in his memory, the Rainy Day Fund will provide meaningful financial support to students who demonstrate determination, character, and the quiet strength Steve modeled both on and off the field.
Your gift ensures that Steve’s impact continues to shape future generations of Lakers. By supporting the Rainy Day Fund, you help carry forward his legacy of lifting others up, doing the right thing, and showing up, even when the skies get cloudy.
