Texas Tech Spirit Programs

The Texas Tech Spirit Program encompasses Texas Tech Cheer, Texas Tech Pom Squad, Raider Red and the Masked Rider. These Spirit Squads serve as ambassadors not only at athletic events, but also at many different university and community functions. In addition to these roles, the members represent Texas Tech on the national stage at competitions.

Being a proud part of the Texas Tech Spirit Program is more than just a year-round commitment. It means dedication from each member to maintain the school spirit of the students, alumni and fans. Each year, more than 80 students are chosen to be members of the Spirit Squads and travel across the country embodying Red Raider pride. Combined, these teams have taken home more than 10 National Championship trophies in the last 6 years.

Our success would not be possible without the generosity of our donors, and on the Texas Tech Day of Giving, we encourage you to support the Texas Tech Spirit Program. These funds will be used to support program travel, uniforms, equipment and more. The Spirit Program members take pride in knowing that they are an essential part of such a wonderful tradition and thank you for your support.
