Creative Writing Series

Led by our Writer in Residence, former San Antonio and Texas Poet Laureate Laurie Ann Guerrero, the Creative Writing Program provides vital professional development experiences for students as well as opportunities to connect to the community. Each semester, we invite a creative writer to give a public reading and conduct a workshop for students. In the past, we have invited San Antonio Poet Laureate Vocab Sanderson and Texas Poet Laureate Lupe Mendez to be part of this Visiting Authors Series.
