The Office of Workforce Development at Texas A&M University-Kingsville connects education to opportunity by preparing students and community members for meaningful careers that strengthen South Texas. Through industry-aligned training, professional certifications, and career advancement programs, the office equips learners with the skills that employers need in today's workforce.

Home to Allied Health certification programs, the Javelina Skilled Trades Academy, the Workforce Testing Center, and the DEC Makerspace, the Office of Workforce Development provides hands-on learning experiences that foster technical expertise, innovation, and career readiness. By partnering with business, industry, and community organizations, the office creates pathways to postsecondary education, workforce credentials, and long-term economic mobility.
