King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management

The King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management (KRIRM) at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is sustaining our ranching heritage through education, innovation, and outreach. We work to educate leaders who will make a positive difference in the ranching industry. We are achieving this vision as the world’s premier Master of Science in Ranch Management program.

KRIRM prepares graduate students to manage the most complex ranching operations in the world. This level of education requires our program to develop not only the technical and strategic ranching skills, but important leadership skills that will enable these managers to guide our agricultural industry in the future. Student leadership development, practitioner-led workshops, and service-learning case study work are at the core of our mission.

KRIRM is also the leading resource for ranch employee development and training. Our unique approach to rancher education provides multiple opportunities each year for hands-on, applied learning that covers a wide range of topics. Through these educational events, we empower ranch owners, employees, and industry stakeholders with skills that assist them in strategically managing complex ranching operations.

Donations to our program will support graduate student engagement in leadership development workshops and individualized strengths-based leadership training. Our program is at the forefront of educating students to prepare for the challenges the ranching industry faces as the world population grows. Your donation helps ensure that KRIRM students continue to receive the education and training needed to steward our nation’s livestock, wildlife, and natural resources.
