Farming, ranching, animal science, and proper stewardship of our natural resources are at the heart of agricultural education in South Texas. At the Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, we emphasize the development of creative thinking and communication skills that make our students stand out above the rest, and be true leaders in their profession. Students are exposed to the most advanced research and management technology through our award-winning professors and research units.
The college also boasts of award-winning student organizations such as the Texas A&M-Kingsville Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society, the Range Plant Team and the Livestock Evaluation Team.
One thing is for sure – our students get their hands dirty–with experience!
