Student Organization Challenge

PLEASE NOTE: The Student Organization Challenge is only 24 hours long, during March 24. Gifts made before or after 3/24 will still support student organizations but won't count towards the challenge dollars or an organization’s position on the leaderboard.

Syracuse has 300+ registered student organizations open to all undergraduate Syracuse University students. Participation in these groups is integral to the Syracuse experience and enriches students’ time on campus. Now is your chance to help them win big and do great things!

All groups were invited to join this 24-hour challenge for a chance to unlock a portion of $3,500 in bonus funding from the Student Experience team. With 42 organizations taking the opportunity, there's a project for everyone.

Every gift—big or small—brings your favorite group closer to making their dreams real!

BONUS: When 150 alumni support any project in the Student Organization Challenge, $2,100 will be unlocked and split among the top 5 groups ($420/winning group) with the most donors at the time of reaching the goal thanks to the generosity of the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board (SUAA).

Don’t see a group or project that inspires you? Consider a gift to the Student Experience Fund, which provides small grants so all students can fully enjoy the Syracuse experience!

Challenge Opportunities:

🥇$800 → Group with the highest number of unique donors by end of Giving Day

🥈$600 → Group with the 2nd highest number of unique donors

ON CAMPUS EXCLUSIVE: $500 → Group with most peer votes during Schine tabling (11 a.m.–2 p.m.) 🔓 WINNER: First Year Players

🥉$400 → Group in 3rd place for unique donors

ON CAMPUS EXCLUSIVE: $100 → Group showing the most spirit/creativity at Goldstein Auditorium tabling (judged by the Spirit Squad) 🔓 WINNER: MEXSA

🧡$200 → Group with most likes and shares on their first social post by 1 p.m. on Giving Day (must tag @su_alums) 🔓 WINNER: Orange Seeds

⭐ POWER HOUR CHALLENGE: $500 → Group with the highest number of gifts between 12 PM – 1 PM 🔓 WINNER: Orange Seeds

💯$300 – to the first group to inspire 100 unique donors. 🔓 WINNER: Orange Seeds

💲$100 → Second group to reach 100 unique donors. 🔓 WINNER: Citrus Racing
