About the Coach Jim Taylor Memorial Fund

The Coach Jim Taylor Memorial Fund honors the incredible legacy of Susquehanna University’s legendary track and field coach, Jim Taylor. Over his 26 seasons (1979–2004), Coach Taylor led the Crusader men’s team to 11 MAC championships, coached 32 All-Americans and seven NCAA Division III champions, and amassed an astounding 117-14 dual meet record, including 71 straight wins. A beloved mentor and Hall of Fame inductee, Coach Taylor inspired countless athletes with his motto: "It's a great day to get better." Funds raised will support the track team’s programs, equipment, and operations, ensuring his legacy continues to thrive.
