Stony Brook Women’s Basketball

At Stony Brook Women’s Basketball, our mission extends far beyond what happens on the court. We want our student-athletes to grow in every area of their lives while giving them the support and resources to be successful on and off the court, both during their time at Stony Brook and beyond.

This season, our program is built around one standard: T.O.U.G.H.E.R. (Trust, Ownership, United, Grit, Honest, Execution, and Resilient). These values represent who we are, how we compete, and how we approach everything we do as a program. They challenge us to continue raising our standard and investing in every aspect of the student-athlete experience.

As the landscape of collegiate athletics continues to evolve and the costs associated with operating a competitive Division I program continue to rise, the support of our alumni, families, friends, and Seawolf community is more impactful than ever. Every gift directly helps us provide our young women with the resources, opportunities, and experiences they deserve, supporting the everyday needs of our program and allowing us to continue enhancing the overall student-athlete experience while competing at a high level.

Our goal is not simply to provide our student-athletes with what they need to compete. We strive to provide an elite, first-class experience that reflects the commitment they make to Stony Brook University and our Women’s Basketball program every day.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who believes in our program and chooses to invest in our team. No matter the size, every contribution makes a meaningful difference and helps us continue building something special at Stony Brook.

Thank you for being part of our journey, believing in our student-athletes, and helping us continue to grow T.O.U.G.H.E.R. together.
