Gifts to Stony Brook Swimming and Diving contribute to...
The Stony Brook Swimming and Diving program is coming off its best season yet after coming back from hiatus due to pool renovation in 2017. The SBU women won their ECAC Competition in December 2025 marking the first time that has been done since 2010. After our move into the CAA, our team has taken tremendous strides towards competing for podium spots at the yearly championship meet and one day hopefully a championship.
The teams mission statement can be summed up by two words “others first”. A team mentality that we started to fully embrace a couple of years ago. Our team gives a tremendous amount of time back to the community and others within the department. Through that building, we have seen a carry over the work that is done in the pool. Empowering our teammates on a daily basis to make each other better.
We look forward to another step forward during the 2026 - 2027 campaign season!
