The LGBTQ* Center Fund for Excellence directly supports Stony Brook University’s LGBTQ* Center and Services. The LGBTQ* Center symbolizes the university’s longstanding commitment to supporting our LGBTQ* students and communities.

Since opening in 2018, the LGBTQ* Center has worked with key campus partners to create and implement campuswide policies that support LGBTQ* students, faculty and staff, launch programs to educate the campus community about LGBTQ* people and topics, and elevate and celebrate the voices, ideas and experiences of our dynamic, intersectional LGBTQ* communities.
