The Center for Hellenic Studies serves as a dynamic hub dedicated to the study and appreciation of Hellenic language, history, culture, civil life, social issues and economy. By exploring the rich heritage of Greece, Cyprus and the global Hellenic diaspora, the Center seeks to educate and inspire students in the values, traditions and customs of Hellenic civilization, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

The Center is also committed to building meaningful connections between Stony Brook University and the Greek American communities of Long Island and the Greater New York area, as well as strengthening collaborations with educational and academic institutions in Greece.
