Philippine United Student Organization (PUSO)

The Philippine United Student Organization (PUSO), founded in 1994, is one of Stony Brook University’s largest cultural organizations, with events drawing hundreds of attendees throughout the year. In line with our mission statement, “to create a social and educational environment in which Filipino culture is advocated, discussed and celebrated,” we have shared Filipino culture with the campus community through weekly general body meetings, cultural events and dynamic dance performances.

We are raising funds to support our three dance teams — PUSO Cultural, PUSO Ballroom and PUSO Modern. These teams play an essential role in showcasing the richness and diversity of Filipino culture. Your support will help provide the resources needed for costumes, equipment and travel, allowing our dancers to elevate their performances and expand their opportunities to represent PUSO both on and off campus.
