Veteran Student Organization (VESO)

Our goal is to create campuswide awareness of the immense contributions that veteran students make to our Stony Brook University community and bring our veteran student community together through various activities that promote bonding and the formation of new relationships.

This year, we would love to send our members to the Student Veterans Association National Convention, “NatCon,” which is the largest gathering of student veterans worldwide. NatCon serves as an opportunity to share ideas, best practices and network with veteran and military-affiliated students, their families, supporters and allies, as well as corporate, government and nonprofit partners.

This year’s conference is taking place in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in January. Your support can help cover the costs of student registration, lodging and transportation. With your generosity, our members can take part, regardless of financial barriers.
