Second Saturdays: Food Bank of New Jersey

Support Student Ospreys!! Volunteer for the day to put student food kits together. You can also bring your donations on the day of the event.

Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) and Stockton University Alumni Relations will host a Second Saturdays event to collect food for College Meal Kits. With tight budgets and busy schedules, college students are particularly vulnerable to hunger, which can hinder their abilities to excel in the classroom and put them at greater risk of dropping out. CFBNJ distributes food to 16 campus pantries throughout the state and works with government to help enact long-term solutions to end college hunger in New Jersey. 

Here are a few of the most needed items:

• Two Gallon Zip Lock Bags
• Oatmeal Cups
• Microwave Rice Bowls
• Canned Soup (Low Sodium)
• Cans of Tuna (in Water)
• Boxed Mac & Cheese
• Granola Bars (No Nuts)
• Fruit Cups (in Fruit Juice, Not Syrup)

Drop off locations, dates and times:

Galloway Location Only - Drop off donations will be accepted from 8/6/2024 - 9/12/2024 from 8am - 5pm at Stockton University, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ.  Bring items to K-204, Alumni Relations.

Atlantic City Location - Donations will be accepted at the event on Saturday, 9/14/2024 from 10am - 12pm. Stockton University, John F. Scarpa Academic Center, 3711 Atlantic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ.
