Hatter Ready in the School of Music prepares students to thrive as performers, educators and creative professionals. This initiative provides direct support for audition-based performance opportunities at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall; participation in local, regional and national competitions such as NATS, the Neil and Dolly Huhta Instrumental Competition and the Giffin Vocal Competition; international and domestic touring experiences; and paid internships and collaborative engagements with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, along with numerous additional professional development opportunities.

Through individualized faculty mentorship, ensemble participation, master classes, juried performances, and structured experiential learning beyond the classroom, students receive professional coaching, travel support and competitive preparation that strengthen both talent and career readiness. Your support expands access to these high-impact experiences, ensuring School of Music students graduate with national visibility, professional credentials and the confidence to lead, create and perform at the highest level.
