We are accepting online donations until Friday, Sept. 30. The student you are sponsoring will still receive credit and a Walk for X t-shirt if they meet their individual goal of $85. Thank you for your support!
This year is the 44th anniversary of the Walk for X!
Every student at St. Xavier High School benefits from the Walk for X. The funds raised during the Walk help bridge the gap between what we charge each student for tuition and the actual cost to educate a student at St. X for a year. The gap per student is $1,000. Therefore, we need to raise approximately $1.6 million dollars a year to bridge the gap.
We are hoping for 100% participation from each student. The goal is to have each student raise a minimum of $85 in order to reach our goal of $115,000 for the Walk. Any student that brings in $85 will receive a Walk for X t-shirt. Also, if the entire school reaches the overall goal of $115,000 we will have the school day off after the Super Bowl!
The Walk for X is not only a long tradition of St. Xavier High School, but it is essential to making sure we bridge the tuition gap each year.
